Well, it’s a pretty rustic/basic Victorian style farmhouse right now on the outside, but I’m hoping to bring a little more polish to it eventually!
It only took me about 5 minutes to make enough for my whole table..I only made 8, but I think I could probably get at least 12 nests out of a bag of moss, which makes this much cheaper than buying individual nests.. Plus, they’re super cute and exactly the kind of happy springy look that I was going for!.

Here’s a little peek at how they look on my table.I’ll be sharing my whole Easter home tour soon so keep an eye out for that if you’re starting to crave spring like I am!For more easy-peasy Easter projects, make sure you check out my.

Easter archives. So, about six months ago, I had kind of an amazing email pop up in my inbox..It was from a lovely editor named Elizabeth from a publishing company asking if I was interested in talking with them about writing a book.

She asked me if I had an agent she should speak with (who?
and if I already had a book deal in the works (nope!).It looks like something you would draw in third grade when you’re trying to make your friend giggle and think you’re cool.
So I guess that’s where my sense of humor is right now!Stuck in the third grade.. Just don’t tattle on me to the teacher for saying the word “butt”!Let me just tell you, there are so many good reasons for me not to decorate my dining room at all this Fall.. -The floors look really bad next to my nice old rescued wood floors in the front hall.
And that makes me a little crazy.. -The walls are still a weird turquoisy color that I just can’t really like no matter how hard I try, but there’s no point in painting until we re-drywall the whole room. And that may not happen for… I don’t know… another five years?
